Camp Life with Christ!
Due to the large number of applicants, we can only offer one scholarship per child. These scholarships are to benefit children who have no other financial resources and may range from a partial amount up to $499 per camper.
Please reach out to your local church/home church about scholarship opportunities BEFORE applying for a scholarship. Many churches set aside funding for this purpose and want to help send your child to camp! Churches can send their checks to camp with the child’s name in the memo section.
Family members or friends may be willing to help your child attend camp. Reach out and ask!
What about the State paying for my Child? The State of Maine pays for many foster/newly adopted children to attend summer camp. Please contact their case worker about this opportunity then have them email us at register@fairhavencamps.org. We will then send you a code for registration that will bypass the $50 deposit fee. Note: We don’t receive payment from the State till after camp is over. Please be aware that you will still receive payment reminders until the balance is paid in full.
Scholarship Application Process
2024 UPDATE
Our scholarship application is now incorporated into the camper’s registration process. All registrations are through our online system and we do not offer paper applications. If you need assistance with registration, please give us a call or email and we’d be happy to help you out.
Important Information
The registration fee is required for each camper’s scholarship. It will only become non-refundable once you application is approved.
Scholarship awarding is prioritized by the camper’s financial need and available resources.
We will contact you once your application is approved. This process can take up to 4 weeks.
Please prayerfully consider the full amount that you are able to contribute. We have payment plans available in the registration process to help with the costs of camp.
One scholarship per child, award amounts will vary, up to a maximum of $499.00 - Multiple children from the same household will receive tiered scholarship amounts for each additional child.
Scholarships can only be applied towards camp tuition.
If your camper will be attending a specialty camp like horseback riding camp, you must pay the difference between the awarded scholarship and the specialty camp tuition cost.
